Zeny Ogrisseg

Zeny CRWith a mixed heritage that includes Indian Sikh, Filipino, German, and Spanish, I grew up in household that was both culturally and spiritually diverse. Although raised Catholic, I have explored several spiritual paths including Filipino Shamanism, Tibetan Buddhism, Zen, Christian mysticism, Shaivism, and Sri Vidya Tantra - a form of Tantra that worships the Divine Feminine in the form of the Sri Yantra.

I have been a yoga teacher since 2003 and conduct 200/300/500 hour yoga and Tantra teacher trainings and retreats through my school Hawaii School of Yoga. I have traveled extensively throughout India, studying yoga, Tantra, and Ayurveda, and connecting to my Indian heritage, which deeply inspires me.

I am passionate about sacred music and play the piano, harmonium, harp, and Tibetan singing bowls. My main instrument is my voice and I have a gift for Sanskrit chanting. I lead regular kirtan and chanting events in Hawaii.

Although I have met and studied with many spiritual teachers, meeting Swami Khecaranatha changed my life. I wasn't looking for another teacher or another path, so it was unexpected - but it felt like I had been found and brought home. Meeting Nathaji fulfilled a deep desire for a spiritual mentor who was dedicated to helping people find joy and spiritual fulfillment within the context of everyday life. I am deeply grateful to be part of a true nondual path that isn't a form of escapism, but one that embraces and honors life in its wholeness.
