Divine Grace & The Resplendent Prostration of Longing

Retreat on Maui: June 8 & 9, 2024
In person at Nityakash, and live-streaming/on-demand.
May we all be seized by an all-consuming and intoxicating longing to know Śiva — the pure innate awareness that is our Self. We cultivate that longing by devotion to the ever-present Awareness, by constantly bowing in reverence and worshiping our own divine nature, always abiding in it, while attending to it at all times. May we live in and as God, expressing Love as the action of the light that radiates from the Liberated Heart.

An in-depth exploration of how, from the viewpoint of nondual tradition, Śaktipata/Grace ignites the longing and devotion within each of us that is the sprouting of the seeds of spiritual practice. You will receive teachings and practices to cultivate those aspects of your sādhana.

Propelled by our longing, evoked by the descent of Grace, a state of Oneness with the Lord is revealed and we can experience true joy and freedom. This is a state complete in itself, pervaded by a feeling of supreme bliss.

In this immersion Nathaji will articulate the two-fold dynamic of grace and longing, operating as one divine process. Śiva bestows Grace up the individual, invoking the longing and devotion that propels that person to know the source of Grace.

One’s longing, embued with the quality of devotion, is both the means and the end. It is simply the realization that it is God’s longing for you to know yourself as God. This is the full measure of recognition. We are and were never separate from our true Self. The cultivation of longing is the unfolding of deeper energies and consciousness. Actualizing longing into true freedom happens through specific practices, which Nathaji will transmit during the retreat.

As the great master, Kabir said:
When the Guest is being searched for, it is the intensity of the longing for the Guest that does all the work.

Look at me, and you will see a slave of that intensity.
